Welcome!

Let's start off with a simple 'hello!'

Welcome, welcome, come and make yourself as comfortable as you need to be. Though, I must warn you, the contents of this blog may make you a little less comfortable than you want to be. Ever heard of a man with hair growing UNDER his skin? I doubt it! It may be scary, or give you the creepy-crawlies, or make the hair on your neck stand up-- but do not fear, and please stick around for the all the posts to be made here about the strangest of the strange: a man with hair under his skin.

Who is this man? His name is Eric, but I just call him Dad. He's always had weird medical issues, ever since the day he was born-- but this is the weirdest yet, and probably the strangest to ever be. My Dad has hair under his skin.

What does that mean, you may ask? Literally just what it sounds like! Right under the layers of skin lies hair, little strands that have never seen the sun or known life outside of the body. It's like facial or body hair, but it lays UNDER the skin. Have you ever heard of something like that? We haven't, and it seems every doctor we go to thinks the same: it can't exist! But somehow it does.

Need proof? Check out a few of these images...

This first image is of a hair (picked out with a needle, as you can see) from under the skin. The area of skin (on Eric's back) was shaved thoroughly before opening the skin with the needle, to find this strand of fiber (hair) under the skin, that seemed to keep growing underneath.

Here, you can see the bumps along his legs where the hair grows. Some doctors say its 'varicose veins' but they don't look like any vein I've ever seen.

This is another image of the lumpy bumps on Eric's legs, where hair grows.

Here, another fiber (hair) is being pulled from him.

Soon, more images will be uploaded, along with videos of what seems to be hair under the skin. Please be patient, though, as the videos will take a long while to upload!

So, what's the point of this blog? To raise awareness on this condition, whatever it may be. We have no idea WHAT it could be, since we have never seen or heard of anything like this in our lives, and the internet seems to prove nothing. My family has gone to many, many doctors and hospitals to get them to simply LOOK at my father, but they all think we're crazy. Hopefully, with this blog, we can find the support and network we need.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you subscribe for more! Feel free to comment or email me with any advice, help, or comments!
